Attractions in Jaipur

Hawa Mahal 

The 18th century Palace of Winds is an architectural masterpiece. Ustad Lal Chand designed it using pink and red sandstones to match the Pink City. The five story palace, erected by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 for the royal women has 953 windows and is 15 metres tall.


Amber Fort 

This is a 1592 CE monument. The construction began in the 16th century and ended in the 18th. The stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site of Amer Fort dominated Jaipur's north. The Kachhwaha Rajput clan ruled Amer and Jaipur from the Amer Fort. Kachhwaha King Sawai Jai Singh II founded Jaipur. Amer Fort features several stunning structures, and travellers visit daily to see its grandeur. The fort also has a mirror palace. This is Sheesh Mahal. Its glass and stone are exquisite. The paintings are handmade.


Lake Palace (Jal Mahal)

Continuing your Jaipur trip, the Lake Palace is a gorgeous palace in the midst of Man Sagar Lake which has five stories of which four are submerged and one over water and a stunning garden. It dates to the 18th century. The Jaipur Maharajas utilised the Jal Mahal as a hunting palace because Man Sagar Lake is home to many birds and ducks.


Royal Gaitor

Another Jaipur monument is the Royal Gaitor. Royal Gaitor is the resting ground of former monarchs with many Maharaja dedicated Chhatris. The elaborate carvings on these cenotaphs' pillars and arches are remarkable. 


City Palace of Jaipur

The historic City Palace of Jaipur is a must-see on any Jaipur tour. The Jaipur royal family lives in this Rajasthani European, and Mughal building. It has ancient gates, palaces, and temples made of sand and marble. Tourists can visit a manuscript and royal costume museum.


Jantar Mantar

Sawai Jai Singh II established the observatory in 1734 AD. The largest ancient observatory in India, Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, with 19 stone and brass instruments. Also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Albert Hall

Explore India's oldest art and culture hub. The Albert Edward built this magnificent building in 1887. Albert Hall hosts fantastic festivals, concerts, and rallies. A prominent Egyptian mummy, artwork from around India, and magnificent artefacts are in this museum.


Birla Temple

Birla Temple is one of several Indian temples that beautify the cityscape. The Laxmi Narayan idol and embellishments in this temple are exquisite. While on Jaipur Tour, most Indian visitors visit this beautiful site. The best spot to relax in silence is there.
